Meet Dr. Ashley
Dr. Ashley S. Reddell first started in optometry as an ophthalmic technician and vision therapist while attending the University of Kansas in 2001. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in 2004, she moved to Memphis to attend Southern College of Optometry. Upon graduating she stayed in Memphis to complete a residency in pediatrics. During her education Dr. Ashley visited many offices across the country and eventually found a permanent home at Family EyeCare Center and the Vision Development Center in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Dr. Ashley is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, Optometric Extension Program Foundation, College of Optometrists in Vision Development, and recently authored an optometry textbook chapter regarding management of the special needs population. In 2012, she earned her fellowship from the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
In her free time, Dr. Ashley enjoys reading, running, playing with her bulldog Chauncey, and spending time with her family. She is very active in the local community as a board member of both the Lions Club and Young Professionals of Leavenworth County. She also sponsors the LEO Club, which is a community service based organization for young people.
